The pub used to be a club but is now open to the general public. Two hand pulls on the bar most of the time, mainly locally sourced pales rotated regularly with great guest ales from further afield, Titanic plum Porter is a regular favourite with the locals. No food available but they do offer a great range of snacks, beer garden with separate smoker’s area, popular with the local ramblers, well behaved children and dogs are welcome at all times. Events – Wednesday is acoustic / open mic night from 9pm with a complimentary buffet. Every other Saturday evening we a good selection of live bands playing from 8.30pm. Sundays we have Chase the Ace card games @ 2pm followed by several games of 13 card Bingo. They have Sky Sports with three TV’s which shows Premier league, Championship games and Formula 1. They serve a great selection of lagers, bitters, ciders, Guinness, and craft ales alongside the two cask ales, the bottle fridge is well stocked with a range of beers & cider, soon to include a selection of craft cans for consuming to take away. The spirits shelf offers a range of Gins, Rums, Whisky and many more to choose from.
